When the Student is ready the Guru will appear..
I had a dream the other night where I was in a shop which had a shelf full of books on Spirituality. It's a shop that I recognise from previous dreams where I rend to meet certain people. This time was no different. I encountered a couple of people who were Sufis shopping at this shop as well.
I picked up a book and it was on the life of Krishna, the blue God who has come into my life at certain stages. This time I was flipping through the pages and one of the Sufi men turned to me and said, "When the student is ready the Guru will appear."
At this point I woke up and felt a sense of jubilation. Was I again ready fr my Guru to appear?
The Bhagavad Gita, one of the Ancient Hindu epics recounts the story of Krishna on the battlefield with Arjuna about to fight the great Kurushektra war between the Pandavas and the Kauravas is one of the first "Spiritual" texts I was introduced to. The great battle between "good" and "evil" which in greater terms represents the internal battle we all seem to encounter during our lifetime. Krishna representing our Consciousness and Arjuna the individual unsure about their place in life to then his ultimate "enlightenment" which Krishna reveals to him.
Krishna once came to me at an earlier time in my life. One of the first times I sat down to meditate I asked that God show his form to me. I saw sitting on a bed a bab, a little blue baby with a peacock feather in his jet black hair. At the time I thought this was odd and I guess at the age of sixteen I didnt think too much more about it but that image is still strong in my mind today. It wasn't until a few years later that I was working in a bookshop that on the wall was a poster of a blue man with a peacock feather in his hair, that I knew I was looking at the same character as was in my meditation years earlier and was told who he was and what he represents.
It Is "He" (Jai Sri Krishna) Lyrics

Jai krishna jai krishna krishna
Jai krishna jai sri krishna
Jai radhé jai radhé radhé
Jai radhé jai sri radhé
Jai krishna jai krishna krishna
Jai krishna jai sri krishna
Jai radhé jai radhé radhé
Jai radhé jai sri radhé
He whose eyes have seen
What our lives have been
And who we really are
It is 'He'Jai sri krishna
Jai sri krishna . . . . . (as above)
He whose sweetness flows
To anyone of those
That cares to look His way
See His smile
Jai sri radhéJai sri krishna . . . . . (as above)
He who is complete
Three worlds at His feet
Cause of every star
It is 'He'Jai sri krishna
Jai sri krishna . . . . . (as above)

I know so little about Krishna, thanks for enlightening me a bit.
That is amazing about the blue baby with the peacock feather and having it turn out to be a sign/message.
I can't watch the video right now, but I will later.
love you Cesco
